TP2 on specific carrier
Ok.. I have searched and searched and I am a little confused still. I know the Touch Pro 2 is dual band, but not sure if this aspect answers this question:
Can I buy a T-Mobile Touch Pro 2 and activate it on Sprint? Sorry if this is answered somewhere. I know a guy that is willing to sell me a brand new one for $350. My company pays for my sprint account so I can't switch to another carrier. Thanks for you time! |

Just a guess, but I don't think the T-mobile phone has the CDMA (for verizon and sprint) technology installed, could be wrong. BUT, if it did have it installed for some crazy reason, when you called sprint to try and activate it, they would probably tell you that they won't activate a phon from another carrier. |

Re: TP2 on specific carrier
How about activating a Verizon TP2 phone on Sprint... would that work? Has anyone done it? Verizons might be cheaper to get...

Re: TP2 on specific carrier
While Verizon seems willing to SIM unlock the phone for use on other GSM networks (mine is unlocked and I can toss in my European SIMs and make/accept calls in the US on it). I doubt they'll unlock the CDMA side for you. Maybe if you pay full price... but I don't see the benefit.
