Touch Pro2 program issues
 

I just got my VERIZON TP2 today and started customizing it but had some issues with different cabs not working with the phone.

Ringo - ringtone program that worked with my Mogul and TP1. Doesnt work with assigning individual ringtones

Disable Msg Sent .cab - does not work - not the one I used for my TP1 and the one posted on the TP2 forum does not work either.

HTC Weather Database - Add locations for the TF3D weather tab - This worked with my TP1 but does not work with my TP2. After it installs I select the Weather tab and TF3D has to re-load itself and brings me back to the Home tab

i had success with the attached weather cab. just take a second to load after you open weather for the first time.

thanks I'll test them immediately! Also, have you tried the BATTERY cab that changes it from 10% to 1% values? I had no success with that either.

Tried the sms sent disable as well, will not work. However, I was able to get the Weather Database cab to work. I have not tried ringo.

edit; also, I dont know why I keep getting a thumbs down next to my reply title...so please dont think im "thumb downing" anything....lol

you need a custom taskbar.

Since you have the Verizon TP2, the regular sms sent disable cab won't work. There is a work around cab that 8notime created. Go here for it: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...=84285&page=16

The following definately keeps the sent SMS window from popping up;

There is a small new SMS icon that pops up, but it goes away automatically. So far I am liking the workaround.

I've gotten the cab for disabling the sent message to disappear but when I receive a text I cant see the message right away till i click on the message tab? Is there something Im just missing (which is very possible) or does the tp2 not have that option? I like seeing the message when it firsts arrives not having to wait on the tab to come up any ideas? thanks

To enable the text message preview when it is received, go to settings / all settings / sounds & notifications / notifications / select new text message and check off display message on screen and click OK.
