Change default web browser on Sprint TP 2?
 

Is there any way to do this so that when you click on the internet icon it opens whatever web browser you want?

Ditto. Want to change default internet browser. There was a link for changing it on the TP (http://www.clintonfitch.com/reviews/...t3/default.asp) but can't locate similar files on the TP2.

I am surprised that you don't like Opera as the browser for your TP2.
That being said, perhaps there is something in the settings of whatever browser you decide to install that will make it the default browser.

How do you update the default browser? I installed the latest version of Opera Mobile but instead of upgrading what was there it installed a separate browser.

I think the best option as of right now, is to remove the internet tab, run nopushinternet.cab to kill Opera 9.5, then you can set your browser of choice to one of the softkeys. TP2 seems very reliant on 9.5 for weather tab and email links. I tried replacing 9.5 and it was a bad time involving a hard reset.
