Hi, can someone point me to the predictive text tweak? I need to set it back to default. I can't find it quickly enough. Also because I'm doing this while at work. Thanks.

"Open your registry editor and make sure that:

HKLM\Software\Tegic\eT9\XT9SupportMSSip has a value of 0

Change these two registry keys under:

HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\control\layouts\e001 0409

•Ime File: \windows\et9ime.dll --> Ime File: \windows\compime.dll
•Layout Text : ET9 IME --> Layout Text : COMP IME

That's it."

just reverse the last two keys and soft reset.

Weird, the space key is back again! All I did was enter the regedit, clicked on a subkey or two. I also did a soft reset. Hmmm, will keep an eye on this and see what happens. Thanks for the info everyone.

I ran into this same issue with this tweak -- very unfortunate, since I'd love to have the predictive text, but not at the expense of the space bar...

This just happened to me for the first time today. Same basic configuration - Opera set to 5 tabs, autocomplete turned on ... I made these mods several weeks ago, and the problem just reared its ugly head today. After reading this post, I figured I'd first fire up Opera and attempt to enter some text in the Opera search field to see if the problem was still there. Guess what? The spacebar is back (for the moment). Didn't even have to do anything in the registry.

I'm having the same problem. ".com" instead of space bar seems to go away after a soft reset. This is too bad because I love predictive text as I am so used to using it. When ".com" shows up I have been sliding out the keyboard and using that. That slide out keyboard in the best keyboard on any phone that I have ever used. It's great!

Note: the only tweak I did was turn on predictive text so you can probably eliminate Opera multi-tab as a source of the problem.
