nope, just regular imap setup, kept getting pw/login info is not correct

all i did was enter in my gmail info and it worked no problem

go to settings in touch flo 3d (slide to the right), mail, click gmail, follow onscreen instructions.

okay, while I am here, with gmail exchange, it syncs over contacts calender and now email right? making it a "push" mail device? or am I off base? thanks in advance!
