CorePlayer Benchmarks

Hi everyone, now to start off this topic i am actually going to be requesting people to actually use CorePlayer and do a phew benchmarks themselves to enlighten some.

If at all possible for some current TP2 (CDMA) to post results on a benchmark for a dattebayo video (Try the Bleach Episode 236). I just got back from benchmarking my TouchPro1 (CDMA) with said video and got a depressing 36.58% on average speed (Using CorePlayer v1.3.5 build 7340).

Why may i be asking for such results? Well mainly to give me reason to either get the TP2 or not too. Not only would this info be great for me but also for alot of other people as well.

You can find mentioned video at www.dattebayo.com and yes its a torrent.

P.S- writting this on my TP1 so exscuse me for lack of detailing as im short on time and completly computerless.. Atleast till 9/16/2009 [from current date of this post :-) ]

I'll do it, once I get mine, hopefully sometime this week. I say this tentatively because the shipper is USPS. :(

I would be interested in seeing the results as well. I have a huge collection of movies/shows on my HTPC and it's a pain to transcode the ones I want to watch to something my phone can handle.

Who knows, might give me a reason to upgrade from my Diamond other than waiting for a crack to unlock the SIM slot so I don't have to carry two phones around. ;)

I hear you, man. I've been trying to get TVersity to work (it can transcode your media on the fly) with CorePlayer and TCPMP but the TP2 doesn't seem to like to stream the transcoded files. I can stream the unaltered versions, although that tends to bog the TP2 down if they are of higher resolution/bitrates, but every time TVersity if transcoding the media down to a lower resolution it chokes out whichever player I'm trying to use.

I'm surprised there's not more info on getting TVersity to work with CorePlayer around here, seeing as how the possibilities are pretty endless with that combo.
