Facebook on TP2
 

I Got my TP2 yesterday and installed facebook. I come from a blackberry where facebook was a really good integration, I could send pictures straight after taking a pic with the camera to fb and scrolling worked real well. With the WM version scrolling is real slow, doesn't work as flick scrolling either and there is no option to send a picture to facebook unless I view it in the photo album. I'm not sure about the pic sending if that was ever a feature but the scrolling is annoyingly slow. Anybody else have that issue?

Yes. I agree the FB application for WM *is* slow. I sometimes login to FB using the browser because it seems a little faster. I have also noticed that the status updates on WM FB application is not always accurate. HOPEFULLY someone will develop a better application that takes advantage of the TP2 screen.

I have never had an issue uploading pictures or videos using the WM FB application. (Menu -> Add Video/Picture). Photos/Videos show-up on my profile without errors.

Try using Facebook Lite in the meantime.... http://lite.facebook.com/

Boots faster than the Facebook app or the standard Facebook mobile page. Worth a look.

you can fb chat on there upload straight to fb and it uses opera for the heavy stuff
