Did I get a free TP2 !?
 

I had sprint add my tp2 to my bill when I ordered it and It has yet to show up on my bill and I've had my phone for more than a week. Does anyone else know about this?

mine never showed up on my account till my billing period ended and my bill was generated.

Dont get to excited, they will definitely bill you on your next bill, my account has yet to be charge for it too. It would be so awesome though if they some how manage to forget or there was a glitch and I dont ever get build.

how about this one, got my pro2 Monday another one came in the mail Wednesday. No paperwork or anything just a label on the box with my name and address. Just gonna wait and see what they say about this one.

What can be done with it? If you try to activate it they might see the mistake... i would ask someone in the know (if they dont call you up anyways) how to go about activating it so you could sell it to someone.

I got mine for free! I found some punk gangbanger kid in a regal and pulled out a supressed M4 and told him I needed $350 for a new mutha ****ing phone. After he pulled it out, I said "Wait! Theres a $100 rebate on that *****!", so he coughed up a benjamin and I put two rounds through his engine block. Good thing I was rollin' with a pro mag of M955 rounds.

well how could they charge me for it I never agreed to by it or to be charged for it and I didnt sign anything it was just at my door when I came home. I never got an email like I did stating I had bought it with an order number and there isnt anything on my account or my credit card. I bought the other one on my credit car and if they charge it twice I will call the bank and tell them it was not authorized.

There are varying degrees of honor like I have honor in my family and faithful service to my country but you could also look at Sprint and see honor in teaching lessons about being more efficient and self reliant.... My Semper Fi to Sprint is in the 12 years I have been with them and it's my honor to finally get a free phone. If they want to call me and ask for it back then they will get it after they pay for the shipping of course.

Well.... they could show that they shipped you an extra one and if you dont send it back you get charged. They do have proof of delivery. Unless by some magical chance there was no tracking number assigned. But doubt that.



And to the op, you will be charged. I just got mine on tuesday and it hasn't shown up online with the charge. But it depends on the billing cycle. When do you normally get your bill? They normally send the bill out about 5 days after the cycle closes.

They dont have prof they delivered it to me, Im not really that worried about it if they charge me I'll just pay for it. Will probably give it to my girl anyways. If not then who knows but I doubt I will be getting it free at any rate. They will probably call.

there is one on the box yes but no order number or even any paperwork at all on the inside of the box like I got with the one I ordered. I even got paperwork with replacements of my old outdated TP1..lol

well since you have some need to keep me in check..... I called telesales and they said they had no record of the second phone being sent out I told him I was going to keep it and if there was a problem I would pay for it, he told me he would note my account. As far as a great example, h3ll yea Im a great example. Every one should be like me.

Dude, what where you thinking. You called and told them? They just noted your account that you got an extra phone for free, how else would they know that if you didn't tell them. I would have just waited it out for a few months then call and see if the esn is clean and if it is at that point then do whatever you want. All you did now is give them something to look for. Its funny though, as I am typing this my conscience is getting to me a little and have to commend you on what you did. Of course though not calling them and reporting the problem is morally wrong and someone could have lost their job because of it. So I guess I don't know what I would have done in that situation, free phone or do the right thing? Darn, why do life's decisions have to be so difficult?

I got a second phone too, holding on to it for now. Same thing happened to my mom when she got some flip phone, they never charged her.

Its HTC's new police buy one phone and you get two. See there phones apparently brake so often they give you a second one just in case. Lol just playing this is only my third HTC phone and unlike the mogul my TP1 didnt have much if any issues other then the oily screen. Hope my TP2 is as solid.

Odd Verizon made me pay the $150 right then before the phone was shipped. Maybe since the phone costs so much for Sprint users they bill you.

I would be surprised if they don't figure that one out, but even if they don't you would have to do an ESN swap with another phone before anybody could activate it.........

ClevelandWheeler you did a very nice thing for a company who wouldn't do same for you. That is truly HONORABLE. But the the fact is anything recieved by mail that was not ordered is considered a gift and is unbillable and you may keep it without getting introuble. This goes for any company or person who accidentally sends a check or product.

Same thing here except they took my money (Full Price) and its a very large credit on my bill. Just waiting for them to take the money for the phone off my credit on the account. This is seriously going to **** up my bill pay lol.

Very commendable that with a bit of thought you chose to do the honorable thing. It shouldn't matter in our life's choices what the other person or company does. We should do the right and honorable thing regardless. I'm glad that there are still those such as yourself and the muffinman below who have consciences and can think something through and then choose good. Well done Marine!

And my hat's off to you also for rethinking your position and realizing there is more to this mistake than skating on the cost of a phone. Sometimes the right choice is difficult, but it is still right.

with the exception of a plan change charges and credits don't appear on the current bill, everything will show up on the next bill cycle

A Zero balance should be a positive thing when the account cycles! It's better than having a hugh balance!! Sometimes zero is better.

I paid with credit card and ran a negative balance until the next bill cycle. Since I knew what my owed amount was I paid it in spite of the negative balance. Worked out perfectly because then the charge for the phone hit and brought me back to normal billing the next bill.

You can check online for all the store/online phone purchases. It should be there "processing" and will show up after 1 or 2 billing cycles. Personally I think it is a bit silly that they don't put it right there and there, but I think its done that way to say you got 30 days to try the phone and return it or keep it.
