verizon visual voicemail
I noticed that a listed feature for the phone is "visual voicemail," but when I ordered the plan for the phone, visual voicemail was a feature I could add for a monthly fee. is this monthly fee just for their software? and if so, is it possible do it without their software, for free?

Re: verizon visual voicemail
It's a monthly access fee for the software.

Visual Voceimal is a service addon, you have to pay the monthly fee if you want it. Phonefusion is a free third party vm that you can use, or youmail. I prefer youmail, it's awesome. There's no Windows Mobile app for it yet but if there was it would be even better.

Re: verizon visual voicemail
oh ok, so if i used phonefusion or youmail, I wouldn't be charged for using it? I thought I read somewhere on this forum that sprint charges for using phonefusion

Re: verizon visual voicemail
Just get a google voice account. :)

Re: verizon visual voicemail
if I used google voice, I couldn't use it for just voice mail right? it'd give me an entirely different number and I'd have to make my calls through it?

Re: verizon visual voicemail
Currently it will not work with Bluetooth on the TP2. Confirmed this with Verizon. They say an update is due, this is because of the new BT stack I guess.

Re: verizon visual voicemail
oh verizon's official visual voicemail doesn't work with bluetooth? does it just revert to the phone's speaker?

Re: verizon visual voicemail
I wish sprint would include visual voicemail on more phones like they did on the instinct.
