Verizon GPS not working (locked?)
 

Hey guys/gals, got my touch pro2 today tried google maps, live search/bing, garmin.... None get a lock...
Think its locked to craprizon navigator after all.
Did anyone else have any luck with this?

Also, the memory is not showing correctly.... :( hope its just a bug...

Mine works fine, and shows the full ram. Gps locks easily after using quickGps. EDIT This is on my Verizon TP2 that arrived this morning.

Go to the phone screen then go to menu>options>CDMA Services>Location Setting. Set it to ON. It's off by default.

No memory issues here either.

Yeah I had the same issue, location is off by default.

When I fired up QuickGPS it asked if I wanted to enable location and I did.

Bing locks pretty quickly now so GPS is definitely unlocked.

Got everything working thanks everyone. It was just the area I was in. Crappy signal.

I tried my GPS before adding or changing anything on the phone and it locked indoors in about 5 seconds :headbang:
