There is a unlock Sprint Touch Pro 2?
 

I am just lurking here and I am looking to get my first TP2.

I saw somewhere there is an unlock Touch Pro 2 now.

He had to take it out to unlock it, then sell it.

Has anyone heard of this?

An unlock TP2 phone? Thats what I thought. I mean this place would known about it first.

If you mean ebay, it's probably a scam since no one's publicly unlocked the CDMA TP2's.

Yes you can my friend, you can use it with t mobile, att or whatever compnay you'd like

CAREFUL. There are many threads talking about Sprint's TP2 on US-GSM networks: IT DOES NOT WORK, for now.

Your best bet would be ANY TP2s BUT the Sprint's. It simply refuses to work with any US-based GSM networks doesn't matter what SIM you use, local or international.

Yah I know this because I didnt heard of it here, that is why I ask you all.

Anyhow this seller is a fool because if he makes that claim, anyone can return that phone if the unlock didnt work. Not a good idea.

I have my telus tp2 unlocked and i can pop any sim into it. so it could work.

Not with Sprint. Telus, VZW can use ANY SIM as long as they are unlocked.

Sprint says it's unlocked out of the box, but it's still locked out of US-based GSM networks, doesn't matter what SIM you pop in there. Domestic or international, as long as it's going onto any US-based GSM network, it simply refuses to work.
