i dont advise you to do this on the back cover where the orange is,its just a sticker i peeled mines off and it seems like the phones alot louder and it sounds better plus i think it looks better i kept the sticker incase i have to put it back on

now your exposing your battery and everything to absolutely every particle of dust or debris possible though is the problem.... and you certainly wont catch a break with any accidental water contact, since it can seep right through the abck now as well...

gutsy call if you ask me, especially for the price... but hey if your happy, thats all that matters right

Wheres that dude that dyed the his battery cover to the touch pro.black and alot of other colors.what was it dye and what else.

Yes it will expose the inner of the phone to dust and such.
It should be louder as there is only 2 pieces of thin foam for sound, and I dont think they provide too much acoustic functionality other than acting as a small wind gaurd.
You can easily make a mask with some high quality adhesive material and put it back on. Or you can color the existing one and put that back on. But I do recommend putting it back on. I'm all about modding, as long as it doesnt take away from the function. Good Luck !

personally, id take it off and paint it blue or some other color and put it back ;)
