Re: would YOU spend $450 for a Verizon TP2 !!!
Do you not have a data plan already? I would think if you talk to a verizon rep, sign onto a new contract and get the extra $30 a month required data plan they would help you out. Thats an extra $360 a year for them.

I'd suggest you sign up with sprint, sign up for the SERO plan for $60, and get it for $350 after discounts. You'll come out ahead in the long run. ;)

Re: would YOU spend $450 for a Verizon TP2 !!!
well i had alltel .
so now they are telling me i still have an alltel plan and my bro and i share. According to "THEM" , if i get the new pro2 i would have to get a new verizon plan , that the phone will not work on the plan i have now (with my alltel touch pro with unlimited data and eveything) so my bro (he has a alltel Blackberry ) and i would have 2 seperate plans? idk they confused me with there stupid babble.. just give me the phone now please !!!!! |
Re: would YOU spend $450 for a Verizon TP2 !!!

Re: would YOU spend $450 for a Verizon TP2 !!!
its worth it... for sure... best built HTC device ever IMO...
i paid 400 for a VM4500(first phone with video camera, and ready link) yrs and yrs ago... spent 400 again for a940 too... those were years ago, but if you wanna compare prices with worth... the TP2 blows either of those "dumbphones" out and it basically same price... read around, except for an issue or 2 for a small amount of people... noone has complained about the money they spent AFTER theyve recieved the device... in fact, weve all been talking about how great they are... their all the same except for back cover(and tmos lack of 3.5mm jack), so u can actually take all our words for it as proof |
Re: would YOU spend $450 for a Verizon TP2 !!!

Only $450? No doubt, I'd do it. Us Sprint customers have to pay $599.

Re: would YOU spend $450 for a Verizon TP2 !!!
I said I wasn't going to pay more than $350 out the door for the phone, (this was before VZW announced the 199 deal.)
Don't get me wrong, it's a great phone, I just think that's too much to spend on communications device. I ended up paying about $345 before rebates including tax and overnight/Saturday-delivery shipping. It should get here tomorrow, so I'll post back then. :P |
Re: would YOU spend $450 for a Verizon TP2 !!!
This is my experience regarding this....
I too was an Alltel customer & I called *611 Cust Service to inquire about the phone & changing my plan from Alltel to Verizon. The very helpful young lady I was talking with put me on hold (for at least 10+ min) to speak with her supervisor to see what she could do to help me. She came back on & gave me some great news: Even though my Alltel plan had me locked in until 11/2010 they were able to reset my account to qualify for the NE2 TODAY! And for both phone lines I have! I was able to order 2 TP2's online (no stores in my area had any phones yet) getting the auto rebate plus a $50 & $30 discount for the primary/secondary line respectively. All told I paid about $350 for both phones! Now I just have to wait until I get them (ETA 9-14-09). |
