Is the overheating issue on TP1 fixed on TP2

Helo,

Touch Pro 1 owner here. Thinking of upgrading to TP2 but won't unless the overheating / battery draining / not charging while using issues are resolved.

Has anyone with a SPRINT TP2 been able to verify the above issues are not present on the TP2?

Can you tether for a decent amount of time without overheating?

Can you use a Bluetooth headset for more than 30 minutes without burning your hand?

Can you charge it while on a call (for more than 15 minutes)?

Does the battery last for more than a few hours of moderate use?

Finally, is the GPS lag fixed?

Yes! The gps lag is still there but not as bad. The phone gets warm but nothing like the tp1.

Yes the overheating problem is fixed. All battery issue are significantly better. The phone doesn't overheat while talking and charging, of course after a while the battery gets warm while tethering but nothing like before. The gps lag is still there a little bit, it finds you almost immediately but before i never had more then 30 meters off, some times when its locating me it will be 1000 meters off, but thats only if i turn it on inside, even though when i turned it on inside i would never be more then 100 meters off.

Can you tether and charge at the same time?

Anyone try WMWIFIRouter for a decent amount of time (while charging)?

I know it has the ability to do that but we all know the TP1 didn't actually deliver that functionality without overheating and draining the battery.

Are you using a TP1 or TP2?

I tether with Wifi Router often and it works flawlessly. Overheating is not an issue what so ever. I keep the unit plugged into an AC outlet (which has a higher voltage rate then a USB/computer charge) and when I wake up in the morning the phone is cool to the touch. No issues with overheating... BTW - the battery life is significantly better...

Be careful of condensation.... That would suck! :)
