Re: Sprint Touch Pro 2 - Dead Pixels!
The best way I found is go into a dark room and reset your device. When it boots up you will have a totally black screen which will make them very easy to spot. You can also disable TF3D and use that screen to look. Just make sure you are in a dark room. It will pop out at you. If you are not in a dark room, it will not be that obvious......

Re: Sprint Touch Pro 2 - Dead Pixels!
Wonder why some stuck pixels appear bigger or brighter than others? For me, I see 3 main pixels with issues, but if I tilt the phone and really get down and look, there could be 10 or so more. But they are way smaller. Anyhows, you can't see them 99.9% of the time. So, unless they just get way worse, I'm happy. My luck if I ask for an exchange the new phone would be worse.

But unfortunately no one else has said they suffer from the same problem. Maybe it's just the subways in Toronto lol |

Re: Sprint Touch Pro 2 - Dead Pixels!
Hey guys, here's the update:
Just got my new phone, out of the box it had 2 very small stuck pixels, nothing to really complain about. After some minimum usage I was in camera mode and decided to see if my friend could spot the stuck pixels. To my surprise, several more appeared. Still nothing to obvious so if nothing else changes, I will keep this one. Oddly, I didn't get the return kit I requested, maybe that has a different shipping priority? I'll call Sprint later I guess. |
