Nice try, but not everyone that views a page is going to post that they have a problem. The VZP TP2 Pics post has 58,000+ views and less than 800 replies, and about 10% of those replies are from unique posters. That doesn't mean only 80 people are going to buy this phone. That's why I prefer the polling method over the way this thread was done, but I didn't start the thread.

Please don't think I'm saying you shouldn't return you phone if they bother you....not at all. Just that everyone considering this issue puts things in the right perspective when coming to an OVERALL decision about the TP2 or any device for that matter.

Yeah I mean I'm not going to say it's a massive problem with the device. To be honest, the thing has run nearly flawlessly for me except for that one thing, so I can't really complain.

The best way I found is go into a dark room and reset your device. When it boots up you will have a totally black screen which will make them very easy to spot. You can also disable TF3D and use that screen to look. Just make sure you are in a dark room. It will pop out at you. If you are not in a dark room, it will not be that obvious......

Re: Sprint Touch Pro 2 - Dead Pixels!

Wonder why some stuck pixels appear bigger or brighter than others? For me, I see 3 main pixels with issues, but if I tilt the phone and really get down and look, there could be 10 or so more. But they are way smaller. Anyhows, you can't see them 99.9% of the time. So, unless they just get way worse, I'm happy. My luck if I ask for an exchange the new phone would be worse.

Also had a problem with call announcement being done 3 times before stopping and found the setting on that. I use Excel extensively and it took a bit to learn to work around the software keyboard. Searching phone numbers - on the TP1 I had a system that worked perfectly and wow, not on this thing, so I had to learn how to do it properly. Otherwise this is a fantastic device.
Did you know that you can set the phone to answer automatically when connected to a bluetooth headset? It's a nice option to have and to be aware of. Really good for those times your hands are full toting items and someone calls.

Strangely my old Touch Diamond reacted the same way when I rode the subway. I can only assume it has to do with it furiously searching for service. It happens as well in elevators.

But unfortunately no one else has said they suffer from the same problem. Maybe it's just the subways in Toronto lol

Re: Sprint Touch Pro 2 - Dead Pixels!

Hey guys, here's the update:
Just got my new phone, out of the box it had 2 very small stuck pixels, nothing to really complain about. After some minimum usage I was in camera mode and decided to see if my friend could spot the stuck pixels. To my surprise, several more appeared.
Still nothing to obvious so if nothing else changes, I will keep this one.

Oddly, I didn't get the return kit I requested, maybe that has a different shipping priority? I'll call Sprint later I guess.

Thanks for the update. I wonder if these drivers would make any difference?:
