Re: Sprint Touch Pro 2 - Dead Pixels!
I appreciate your perspective, but don't think comparing dead pixels on a modern LCD screen to some of the things you've listed isn't very fair. The fact is that there are competing devices that have a low instance of this failure, which tells me that there's something about this particular screen that giving it a higher failure rate. I really think I should be able to turn on the screen and have 0 dead pixels, i.e., I don't think dead pixels are the expected norm.

Re: Official Touch Pro 2 defects thread
Coming from a Treo 800w with abysmal battery life and the little screen, this is like a slice of cellular heaven to me. I've got a little wobble when tilting, but frankly it is so slight I don't see it as a defect. And I don't like using tilt for my typical use. I can see using it to watch a video and that's about it for me.

They're stickers... They come off lol. I think the OP is one of those people that leave that shipping sticker on the screen untill it falls off. |

Re: Official Touch Pro 2 defects thread
If Exil3d is truly interested in maintaining a list of official issues that have been confirmed I'm sure he will remove #3 (Sprint) Keyboard slides and tears the plastic stickers that protects it from scratching the device
Those stickers are clearly intended as packaging. The TP2 I just received has no signs of any of the listed defects. Neither of my TP1's experienced any issues that I considered to be defects. The most annoying thing I ever have to do is reboot my devices about every 2 days to ensure to performance. That is something to do with the Winmo software, and is expected on that type of device. If this one holds up I'm going to upgrade my other TP in about a month. |
