So... I still have a xv6800 that is dying. Battery life is horrible, the USB connector is only good for charging, and some of the buttons don't work anymore. I was going to file an Asurion claim a few months ago, but decided to wait things out and see if it hangs on long enough for me to get a TP2.

Is the Asurion deductible now $100? Also, will I have to wait for Asurion to run out of xv6800's to get a TP2 (this is my 3rd xv6800 in about 1.5 years)?

So what would the price be after the "new after every two" promo? At that price, my wife and I might as well both get the TP2. We're up for upgrades come October.


Bkaz: I'm a 6800 owner as well. The battery is almost dead and space key on the keyboard doesn't work well. My wife recently broke and replaced her Blackberry Pearl with Asurion and the deductible was $50. I'm not sure if it's more for our 6800's.

It's still $50. If you get lucky like me, they'll give you a Touch Pro. No way will they send you a TP2 for a 6800.

$200 seems too cheap for Verizon, and September seems a little early. Better for all for me to be incorrect.
