Did anyone notice this section on page 8:

"Device Software Upgrades – Updates to your device’s software may become available from time to time. Sprint will automatically upload critical updates to your device. You can also open the Settings screen to check for and download updates. Tap Start > Settings > All Settings. On the System tab, tap Update Firmware to search for and download available updates."

For me the case is not important. I have one that is about 5 years old and has been used with great success from the 700P, the Centro, the 800W and Touch Pro. The case - Palm branded leather horizontal case.

Sounds like "over the air updates". I had the first version of the instinct (big mistake). But the over the air updates were great. I don't think they could update to 6.5 over the air but who knows, they might have gotten a lot better at it.
