Np! Let us know if it works? I'm sure it does if it was posted on pocketnow, but I don't have Tmo, or a TP2, so couldn't test it out myself.

I wonder why they would cripple this feature out of the box? Seems kind of strange.

How was the sound quality? And I assume they can all hear each other too, but you would have to have things extremely organized as to who was to talk, or else NOT use the speakerphone, or else they could be talking amongst themselves while you are bellering, thinking "you had the floor", correct?

I had 2 of my sisters, a cousin, my wife and I, we all had took turns talking about 1min each to make sure things ran well. sound quality was fine i didnt notice any hissing or odd sounds. me being slow (haha at me) didnt think to try it on speaker phone. i will try that in a few if everyone is still up and report back

i am using a verizon tp2 but with tmobile coverage. technically, i would be able to use the conference feature since i am using gsm. however, the phone itself does not have the registry to do so. does anybody have a fix/solution?

this will not work on any cdma network, so no it will not work with Verizon.

FYI - I have a Sprint TP2 and the MaxConferenceSize key is defaulted to 5. Is this conferenceing feature facilitated thru and additional app TMo put on the phone? Or do you just keep bridging calls like when you do a 3-way call?

with gsm you can conference in more then 2 callers with any phone. tmobile didn't put the app on the phone it was created by htc, it was suppose to be one of the selling features. Cdma networks do not support this feature being as we can only conference in 2 callers. cdma phones are capable of doing this also, but our network doesn't support the feature.

Re: Tmo tp2 conference calling

So is it not possible on CDMA network regardless of the software? I was hoping someone could get a customer ROM or something with the conference call feature in there. Would definately be nice. From what I've read CDMA CAN have it, but it isn't enabled yet, or something like that. *Sad face
