In call recorder
Anyone got this working on the Telus TP2 yet?

Re: In call recorder
Good question. I don't know how easy it'll be without a 3rd pary ROM. If I'm not mistaken there are laws in Canada that block this, as you cannot record without the other person's express permission.
I don't know exactly why I know that, but it sounds like that would be why we can't :) |

Re: In call recorder
True 'nuff. But hey, we have free health care, so I'll take not being able to legally record phone calls ;)

I heard there are HORRID wait times to see specialists. So unless you have the sniffles.....you are SOL for 4 weeks or more. |

If the recording is for anything commercial, recording must be disclosed (the reason why most companies say that this call is being recorded and "may" be used for training purposes.) Quote:

Re: In call recorder
At least we do not take months to get an appointment to see a GP.

Bah I was tired, and should have kept my mouth shut.

GP = Family doctor, I can't "walk-in" to my family doctor... but I routinely see mine within 2 - 3 weeks of trying to schedule an appointment... which is more than fine with me for routine yearly checkup type stuff. If I don't want to wait that long, I use the walk-in clinic down the road and get seen in 10 - 45 minutes (cold/flu type stuff). If that's closed and/or I need immediate care I walk-in to the hospital. ALL of the occurs with ZERO hesitation because there's no out of pocket expense. Either way, if you really want to continue this "debate" start a new thread... |
