Anybody try Slingplayer yet?

Waitin for the TP2 to drop on Sprint and since football season is almost upon us, I was just curious about slingplayer and the quality of the picture on the TP2. When I had my TP quality was okay but since I moved to the Treo Pro the small screen makes watching sling pretty pointless. Does slingplayer even support wvga resolution?

I installed sling player on my new Telus touch pro 2 and it works perfectly. Better then on the Diamond.

I was just looking to get some feedback from current TP2 owners. No particular reason to doubt that it wouldn't work. I sling a lot so you can imagine I'm pretty hyped over the bigger screen.

How is the quality of the picture considering slingbox supports up to 320 by 240 and the tp2 is 800 by 480.

Edit: I think maybe thats what untouchablez was probably trying to ask

I find the Picture's aspect ratio is wrong if you put it on normal, Looks stupid, people all squished up and whatnot. If you select Letterbox then the Aspect is correct but only about 1/3 the screen is utilized.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I am pretty sure an upgrade will be/is in the works to accommadate the larger screen.

How? It will take significantly more bandwith on both ends to support a resolution thats about 5 times more than 320 by 240, wouldn't it? Who knows:confused:

Bought a tmobile tp2 just a mess around with it for 14 days.

The slingplayer works great. When in fullscreen mode it does not fill p the entire screen; about 3/4th is filled up with the rest black.

Same situation with the Hava player. Any news on WVGA support?
