Basic Howto on installing apps on a WM device.

I am also available for PM help for newbies. Been using WM so long I forgot how confusing it can be haha :)

Let's try to stick to apps here so we can provide people with good stuff to put on their TP2.

PocketShield 3.0 was just released - a great application for locking and unlocking your screen. Better than S2U IMHO - not so iPhoone'ish.

I see in so many threads that folks ask how to get cab files over to their phones, and my favorite way is never mentioned: After saving a cab to my Download directory, I just email it as an attachment to myself, with what the attached cab is for as the subject line, like "Shake n Save Cab" (great program, when you need to do screen captures such as for posting here, just start it up, and every time you shake it up and down it saves the screen). Then when the email comes to my phone, I save the attachment to Storage\Program Files

You know I never even thought of that. I usually just take my sd card out and stick it in my CPU then copy reinsert and install. Brilliant idea, it will save me alot of time.

I haven't seen this asked, so I hope I'm not missing the obvious. For Total Commander, is there a way for it to flip to landscape mode? That would make it much easier to work with.

thanks

What's the cheapest way to get Garmin XT 5.0? Is there any GPS software that allows use of topo maps?
