he means that they have an esitmated price for shipping on saturday so he can see them sending you the phone on saturday and not monday

I just called Telesales and they would not order it or pre order it for me. They said they didnt even have a release date yet which doesnt make sense because VZW has confirmed Firday the 11th for me several times. Guess I will call back at 12:01 EST on friday and see if I can order it then. The sooner the better.

Does anyone know if you have to sign for the package for VZW phones? I am worried I will not be at my house the time it is delivered.

Telesales doesn't open until 7am EST I believe.

And yes, signature is required.

actually i think the reason why the signature is required is because of the price?
if anything over x amount of dollars requires a signature?

I called Telesales yesterday afternoon (8th Sep) and he was all ready to order it for me but couldn't. He said he couldn't until Friday (11th) and asked for a number that he could call me back at. He is supposedly going to call first thing Friday morning to let me order.

I don't think you get routed to east coast call centers. I think it'll say the offices are closed for you until 7am. I'm just saying this because the opposite happens at closing. If I call right after 11pm, when technically the west coast call centers should be open for another 3 hrs, it says the offices are closed for the day.
