Backup contacts

I know this question has been asked before but I can't figure out how to backup my contacts for free for someone like me who doesn't understand all the complicated stuff like flashing your phone.

I just want a simple program like Microsoft MyPhone was. I had to hard reset my phone 3 times in the past 6 months and keep losing my phone numbers :(

Re: Backup contacts

look up "PPCPimBackup", its a single exe file for the phone that backs up your WM data and lets you restore it

Re: Backup contacts

Thanks so much! So how does this work, next time my phone does a hard reset i just reinstall this program and it will give me an option to download my contacts?

Thanks!

Re: Backup contacts

not download exactly, but run the program, and it gives you option to backup or restore, choose restore ;)

Re: Backup contacts

you will need to backup the contacts to SD Card or to device and then transfer the back file to SD Card or offsite storage. If you just back it up and store it on the phones memory, a hard reset will wipe both the phone and the backup file.
Just a friendly FYI.

Re: Backup contacts

OK, so I tried the product and every time I turn it on it tells me I need to register it or it won't work fully. It said to go to http://easyhelper.googlepages.com/ which does not exist. Now I lost all my contacts again and when I hit restore it only restored like 10 numbers! :(
