This is where you went wrong. You are supposed to run the unlocker from your pc, which has an internet connection, and is synced to the phone, not on your phone.

i was using my pc with sync and internet but for some reason got an error but in the instructions it mentions running sspl manual then clicking the manual button on the pc unlocker, however i found where i screwed up im supposed to sync before clicking the ssplmanual in the phone and i didnt....
