screen lock issues on xdandroid
 

My mobile network disconnects whenever my htc touch pro2 goes into screen lock wen am runnin android froyo on my fone. Someone pls help.

it should disconnect whenever phone turns off/sleeps to save battery, it happens in windows mobile as well unless you are streaming something to keep it alive but if it drops it'll disconnect too :S at least i think it should, aarrrggg that has the xandroid thread will know better on android side

My TP2 would always be connected to the network, but this was because i had the auto updates and such running, otherwise i think it would disconnect (WM) as for android I can imagine it being the same if nothing needs it but if its staying disconnected after being unlocked then that isnt normal and is probably an issue with the sprint network.

If I'm tethered(internet sharing) using Windows Mobile and I push the power button or the screen turns off or I engage the screen lock my phone stays connected until I disconnect it manually. I've stayed tethered for hours. Works great. Anyone having trouble in WinMo might want to try running Shaggy's Suspend Resume Cab. :dontknow:
