its less crowded that's for sure, but it doesn't seem to like my room that much especially when I try to do some hardcore streaming. another downside is OEMS often consider it last compared to the more mainstream bands.

I edited it, but the network has to support it...it has 850, which is what AT&T uses, but not 1700, which T-Mo uses...

so my phone won't get 3g for t mobile but it will for at and t because the sprint touch pro 2 doesn't support the 1700 mhz frequency ? any way to get that ? I might unlock to t mobile pre pay plan .

EDIT: it looks like it supports 1800 but not 1700 ? very strange

As far as I know, our TP2s won't get 3g on any US network.

I thought it worked on AT&T...

Well, if it does then that's news to me. I thought it was only capable of EDGE speeds. I'm gonna do some investigating...

:dontknow:

ummm..if what MR.X says is true..then wouldn't that mean that those areas that T-mobile has 2100mhz UMTS would work and have 3g O.o?

Hmm and I thought magenta used all AWS? Interesting that would mean that could get a titan in those areas.
