Failure to install Sprint Rom HTC Pro 2.
 

I wanted to help was a rom to install the equipment in the original Sprint HTC Pro 2, when I have had this fault blank image with the word stop and HTC is not to be taken to install, how should I do to solve this problem and I do not recognize the USB device and gives me this error (260): Connect.

Are you trying to install the Sprint OEM ROM or a custom ROM?

I wanted to help I am using a task29 with htc rom 2 Pro CDMA version 3.28.4.3 and I do not give this to install.
How do I solve this problem of white screen, and says one word and does not install HTC will be that there must be some software to install it.
One more note sync windows mobile can not read the usb device is not to give way to install.

Is it stuck on the white screen that says HTC in green letters? If you flashed task29 and now at this screen, that sounds about right since you wiped out whatever ROM was on the phone.

I'm trying to put everything together here though.

Are you connecting your phone to your PC via Activesync?

Download this rom to your PC:

Shipped ROMs

Then remove your battery from your device for about 15sec. Then replace the battery and then immediately push and hold volume down button and while holding that button down push and hold the power button until rainbow bootloader shows.
Then toward the bottom it should say serial. Then connect your device to your PC and where it says serial it will change to usb. Then click on the exe rom I told you to download and follow the instructions.
