Windows Mobile is only for smart people. :D

It's really the only Pocket PC giving the user the power and versatility of a PC but you can carry it in your pocket. It's not pretty out of the box but that can always be remedied. ;)

It is as one XDA member put it "The Smart Person's Mobile OS." lol

lol..is that suppose to be a pun on the definition of "Pocket PC"?

oh and welcome back!

By pun I mean its like saying Windows 7 is the best windows OS. If you use "pocket pc" definition by microsoft it would be a windows mobile phone..so effectively..its like saying "Windows Mobile...It's really the only Windows Mobile Phone giving the user the power and versatility of a PC but you can carry it in your pocket".

Cause I can name quite a few OS that give you the power of a PC in your pocket >.> (and no not just Android)

windows mobile is a good OS (after some tweaking) but I think the only problem with it now is the lack of development . I'm honestly glad windows came out with windows phone 7 just to keep the competition alive . or else every phone that wasn't made by apple would have android on . I'm surprised palm (now webOS) jumped off the phone market . the palm pre was a decent phone .

Eh.. I.didn't much care for it. I didn't personally have one but my naighbor did. It was a cool phone at the time I guess but I didn't like how small the keyboard was
He had to get it replaced like 3 times cause the screen stopped working. So.. therees that too lol

Re: Who still loves WM ?

You know ironically the pixi was a better phone then the palm pre..while the palm pre had better specs and all it just wasn't enough to satisfy the top end bracket while the pixi was a lot cheaper and from what I heard a lot of people liked it in the low/middle tier. I had a friend who was waiting on their iphone 4s (the horror) and they borrowed my pixi which I had collected dust and they fell in love with it. (They used iphone, android, winmo, blackberries and etc)...

Personally I think palm should have made more emphasis on the pixi, they gave the exclusive of palm pre to sprint but should have gave the pixi to all carriers and make it a 0-50$ phone...it would have completely destroyed all the feature phones of the time and got people hooked on webos..then when they feel up to snuff offer them higher tier phones.

Re: Who still loves WM ?

With HP announcing that they will be making webOS open source, we'll probably see it pop up on a few devices. A developer named Ryan Hope was able to get webOS to boot on his Evo 3d.. webOS may be coming to the HTC EVO 3D someday
