i cant get my igo8 on my htc tp2 to work on full screen...

hi, i cant get my igo8 on my htc tp2 to work on full screen... its like 3/4 of the screen.
i tried many sys.txt files and all kind of ui_igo8 folders.... what can i do?? pls.
and why it takes forever to connect the gps signal if it connect at all???
