Employee Plan and Phone...
 

So I am on the Radioshack employee plan and i currently pay 20 a month... I lost my touch pro 2 and i have insurance on it... but i really dont want to get one again...

does anyone know what my options are for me to get a new phone and still keep my plan?

i love the evo 4g, but wasnt sure if that would mess things up for me...

nope,all new phones especially those with android require a plan upgrade so u'll probably will be paying $20-40 more.

yea i figured as much...

but what bout the htc arrive, its a 3g phone and windows mobile, i wonder if anyone has luck activating it on the employee plan?

i just dont wanna go out and shell out 250 on a phone and end up it not working on my plan...

well I have the arrive and I had to get the premium data add on when I purchased it. it may be a different case if ur getting the arrive as a replacement for the tp2 because essentially u aren't using an upgrade.

It won't work..when you get the phone no matter which method you use it jsut won't activate on the account..period...

As for the $10 premium data..only smartphones immune are the winmo phones and the Samsung Replenish.


That said I do hear some people got their account changed to a newer indirect employee demo plan that will work..

ive been down that road aswell.

I have SERO and they will not under any circumstance let me get any android or newer windows phone 7 phones withough upgradeing to the SERO Premium+Data.
+10 bucks for premium
another 10 for data

nomatter what.

If I were to try and get anything newer then the tp2 I have now, Id have to get SERO Premium...
Unless I go to a dumb phone...
