TP2 MR3 update removed Lock button
 

Hello!

I have Googled for HOURS trying to find a way to restore my Lock button that was on my Home screen with the MR1 release of the VZW Touch Pro2.

After my MR3 update, I now have Phone on the left, which is REALLY stupid, because there is a hardware Phone button right below it!

On the right, where it used to say Lock, it now says Menu.

I have loaded a few tools (Advanced Configuration Tool, etc) but still cannot see how to change it back to my MR1 Lock button. I always manually locked it before putting it into the holster to avoid pocket dialing.

I would like to change the left softkey to Lock, because Phone is redundant. If I cannot do that, then I'll go for the right softkey.

Anybody know how to get it back?

Never mind. Too many odd things to stay on this version. I am going to go back to MR1.

You could just use Advanced Config or another app to change your softkeys to run the same command/exe that the MR1 version has assigned to that softkey. If you put MR1 back on use Advanced Config to investigate for possible future use.

I havnt personally tried it, But I found it awhile ago cause I had the same issue befor flashing my first 6.5.3 rom. I guess I forgot about it after that since energy has an "actions" key instead of phone.

Idk if this even works on 6.5.x roms.. but never hurts to try

On a side note.. I could have sworn I had seen a cab for this exact thing on a sprint lovers rom thread but I couldnt find it when I looked for it just now...
