Re: TP2 MODELS
all HTC models released since 2009 all seem to use the same battery and as such they all seem to fit for example the TP2, and EVO batteries all fit and also I can use the batteries for my arrive on my tp2 and vice versa.

Be sure to get a package that includes the battery door if it is one of those oversized batteries. |

ya, I think all the htc phones that have a 1500mAh battery would be interchangable. Leave it to a company like htc to reuse their inventory lol But i remember I had to get a battery swaped at the store once and they pulled one from a shift for my tp2 |
Re: TP2 MODELS
This is the battery i want. Now I know it says the door won't fit but i found an extended door for my model tp2. Will this battery fit? Thanks.

Re: TP2 MODELS
I know it ses your on boost, but what was your phone orriginally?
sprint? at&t? whatever the phone might be, just look up a battery plus door for it Im sure the battery will wit no matter what, no worries there. But I didnt think the door would be the issue lol. |
Re: TP2 MODELS
I looked that up and the only one i found was for $100 and i can pick up the battery and door seperately for $20 thats why i'm asking if the battery in that ebay link will fit. Thanks

Go to amazon and order the 1900mah battery from chichitech. It will fit under the stock battery door. They sometimes offer a package with 2 batteries and a compact charger for like 45 bucks. |
Re: TP2 MODELS
Well I can understand that, but what is the original make for your phone?
As far as I am aware, boost flashes phones from other companies to their network right? Kinda like what cricket does? So what is the original network your phone was intended for? If you dont say then I cant help look for one or even conferm that what you have found will fit |

EDIT I just got off the phone with sprint and they told me that they dont carry extended batteries in the stores for the touch pro 2. What I recomend doing is maybe trying to find a verizon store in your area and go in the store and ask them if they can show you one of their touch pro 2 if they have on in there and see if they use the same batteries (Im like 99 percent sure they do though) And ive read on some other threads that they carry extended batteires in most of the corprate stores. BUT.... Im not 100 percent sure that the battery door will fit because I think that the verizon modletouch pro 2 does not have the same button layouts or ports. So maybe order a cheep extended battery from verizon if they have one, or maybe even this one and then order this from ebay for the cover if the one you ordered doesnt fit. last I heard, the battery itself is like 13 bucks at verizon and this cover is another 15. still better then 100 bucks... |

Yeah I think i'll buy the battery in the link you posted and that door in the other link you posted that door is the one i was talking about i just didn't post the link for it only the battery. Thanks |
Re: TP2 MODELS
Update. I got the new battery and i just took a razor and trimmed the cutout at the bottom on the battery cover where the usb and headphone jack is and the door fits and battery is good after surfing the web for 1/2 hr its still at 100% with the old battery it would be at 70% after a 1/2 hr and when i'd unplug the charger it'd show 80% after a full charge. So if you want a longer lasting battery cheap then buy the one in the link a few post back.
