Hi you guys, i have a question for yall. I'm buying a verizon touch pro 2 from ebay and i plan to sim unlock it and insert my at&t sim card in it.:headbang: Now my question is that i was looking at the roms for this device and i really like the the choices of roms, the one that really catches my attention is the energy roms, but i notice that he said that this rom doesnt wont on gsm carriers like at&t.](*,) my question is will that rom work on my phone even if its a verizon touch pro 2 but on at&t network???:???:

sorry Bud . but I don't think it will . the sim card will keep certain things from working running a CDMA rom with a gsm card . you prolly won't even get service . :(

alright good for you . however I thought your question was related specific to a cdma ROM on a gsm network . there are certain packages that are included on stock roms which enable gsm operations . if energy states it won't work , he most likely removed those packages . but all in all , I'm glad you found your answer !

OP I don't see why you couldn't do what you want to do. I think maybe you are misinterpreting the cdma only info from the energy rom. It just means you can't flash that rom to a gsm rhodium(TP2). Keep in mind you won't get 3g data from AT&T on that device just Edge speeds but it should work fine otherwise after it's SIM Unlocked.

yea I wouldn't go for it since there won't be any 3G. ur better off looking for a used Tilt2 on eBay or even getting one of those kickass at&t wp7 phones like the HD7S.
