Taking a TP2 to Sprint for Repairs/Replacement
My TP2 is acting up a little and I'm deciding if it's worth taking to Sprint. I pay for TEP, so I think this should be covered.
But I'm on SERO, so I'm afraid if they don't have more TP2s, they'll try to force me onto a different plan. The phone is buggy, but nothing to cry about. It just resets itself randomly. Something I can live with, but I'd like to be replaced. But I'd want another TP2, not something that's not SERO compatible. Has anyone taken the TP2 in for replacement recently? Do they still have them in stock? I read in another thread that it's not really on the website anymore, does that mean they can't give me a new, or even refurbished one? |

sprint will always give you TP2's if you insist on the same replacement.
Like in a case I had a few years back, where they offered to switch my apache for a mogul before; unfortunately, I wasnt fond of the input lag and bluetooth bug and asked for a replacement apache. Lucky for me, they were able to source one even though they had been EoL'ed for over two years. Anyway, if you believe its hardware related, bring it in :) |

just a note, but any insurance replacement does not require a data plan switch..per sprint rules. you can get whatever phone asurion gives you without upgrading your plan. |
Sprint still has TP2's to replace yours with. They may no longer be on the regular Sprint.com website but they're still for sale on their International site, so they still have stock.
