Sprint TP2 - Which ROM for simplicity, speed

I looked at the Evo 3D today and it's nice, but I'd like to stick with my current SERO data plan and not signup for 2 more years.

Really, the things I don't like in the TP2 are software issues more so than hardware. It seems like the OEM ROM is slow and there's more clicks than needed to navigate...

I'm hoping to get some suggestions on what ROM I should use instead. I'm not opposed to something flashy, but really my needs are simple...

1. Ability to make phone calls to a few favorite people with minimal clicks.
2. Ability to send texts to these same few people with minimal clicks.
3. Nice to have: speech to text.
4. Nice to have: faster browser.
5. Nice to have: Music Player with playlists
5. Tethering. Currently use WMWifiRouter which works OK..

Thanks!
Mark

+1 to darrens suggestion and any 6.1 rom will provide the speed and simplicity u seek and the stock windows media player allows playlists

Thanks guys. That narrows it down :-)

Should I get the senseless ROM or Plutonium or Neodium?

Can I use CHT or ? to make shortcuts to call my favorite people to cut down on clicks?

Thanks,
Mark

Just wanted to give you guys a big THANKS!!

I'm using Neodium and it's great. Easy to use, fast and simple. I also overclocked the phone a bit and that's working too. It feels like a whole new phone but without the less attractive contract ;-)

I've been using sharkies v5.1 rom. I love it. I use it mainly to tether now, but I find it has fast download speeds. I've also used it when my TP2 was my main phone and it worked great.

Darren I am gonna try that Plutonium... I am on Energy 6.5 and I am ready to bang my head on a wall with it. Not bashing the rom, I believe its the phone to blame.... I am hoping 6.1 will alleviate my issues!

Oops I mixed up posts.... I'll try the Plutonium, if no good I am going to 6.1

@mytmouse you can try This ROM,plutonium than 6.1. I tell u that first option ran really well in the 2 weeks I ran it on my tp2 before I got my arrive, I recently installed its update and it seems even better.
