email not downloading?
 

my email was working fine yesterday on my phone, and automatically downloading as usual.

but this morning, i noticed that the emails stopped working, and it goes through the connect, receiving headers, and then disconnecting without downloading anything even though i know i have emails.

does anyone know what this issue is? is it something on gmail's server side when requesting emails via imap?

Not sure what the problem is. You can try setting up your gmail account via outlook.

I am having this same problem and so is my wife. Any ideas how to fix it yet?

Google apparently has removed something that was causing the problem. it is fixed now.
