Gmail problems. Connecting
 
Gmail Problems. Yesterday Gmail started messing up my ability to synch email in general. It hangs and it says connecting and never connects. When this happens nothing else works on the phone. The only solution I have found to work is just to delete Gmail in general. I see recently Google added new features to the Gmail account. I think this is the cause of the problems. This is a new problem and I am sure I won’t be the first to comment on it. Anyone experince this yet and any possible fixes?

its causing most of us a SOD.

I've set my gmail to just manually sync and that's fixed it for me for now. Luckily I don't really use gmail and yahoo continues to be trouble free.

This is not the same problem. Gmail is not responding either to send or receive. It is not logging in.

This is excatly what is happening to me. Its frustrating and I have to delete it off my phone or else it will just kill the battery.

Affecting me as well..

Check over at Google groups...a lot of issues regarding something that changed from them recently. Also noticed that my TP2 got real hot and triggered the overheating LED notification for the first time yesterday. This is a major issue that they need to address ASAP

Google apparently removed what ever the problem was. It is working now.
