LOL did you try checking in the "Official favorites cab thread" sticky? Its on the 2nd post. lots of other great stuff there too..

heres one i use every american idol season to piss off the wifey... its an awesome autodialer.

resphone - for electronics to find out resistance values of unknown resistors...and also calculates OHMs law.

photoresize - easy pocket app to resize photos...kinda crappy but functional

programtab - gives you 1 more tf3d tab (programs) and changes the start menu back to original windows.

NSFANSopera - easy cab to make stock opera a lil better...its how i post from my phone ;)

in my entire run with WM I've never used total commander I just used the stock file explorer.

Total commander is much more than just a file explorer..

i would be lost without TC. reg editor, ftp client, access to lan shares when on different wifi networks....TC is what file explorer should have been from M$ on wm6 and above.
Resco explorer is another one if you paid for apps.

I agree, you can edit the registry which i did a lot back when i had a winmo phone :)

file explorer did have those features too except for the reg editor. TC probly just made it easier to use those features. maybe its because of the fact that im not a corporate user as to why I never had a need for it. I used PHM for my reg edit needs.
