not sure if this is possible .

running stock 6.5 , having many phone issues . i use sms chat , and pocketshield . what i would like to do , is when unlocking it while having the text open , id like it to unlock to that persons chat . instead of unlocking directly to the application then tapping the contact .... personally i dont think its possible without a lot of hard coding ...

using windows mobile 6.5.x lockscreen actually does this . however , it opens to windows messages not SMS chat .

Try going here:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\RAI

and edit the MSINBOX

that worked , in terms of opening up SMS chat , but not think actual conversation .. SMS chat has its own notification thing , where the message is displayed on the screen , then you can select to reply , or dismiss .

Try sending a paramter to the sms chat exe

"[PATH]\SMSChat.exe" open:%s

[PATH] = replace with the path to sms chat

I'm not sure I understand . but I understand the concept your mentioning . like since SMS chat has its own notification system where it can open the chat , for me to reply , I'm wondering if I can copy that method into pocket shield and also the windows notification .

Hey gTen . thanks for this , it opened an empty chat .. so i think im on the right track . i found the actual SMS Chat notificaiton in the registry and tried copying that parameter into the RAI but it didnt work .. plus i want to use PocketShield , or the new WM6.5.x lockscreen to enter into the actuall chat .
