VZW visual VM so Slow?

I really like the visual voicemail app with VZW except that it is so slow... I am stock 6.5 running titanium... any way to speed that app up? I can leave it live in RAM but it is a bit of a hog...

try youmail service instead of VZWs native VVM..

also GoogleVoice does VVM also..
