A new Sprint text date problem (2016ish problem)

So, I noticed all my texts from yesterday are registering as texts from today. They are all showing times instead of 2/1/11 like they should be showing. This reminds me of that whole 2016 fiasco. Can anyone confirm or deny this as a problem?

denied! sorry dude. here's a real problem tho. due to the great 2011 blizzard here in metro chicago the power at the sprint tower closest to my area went out which is affecting my data connection,voice calls and possibly texts
