facebook uploader not working?
 

hey guys,

i did a search but didnt find anything relevant to my issue.

i am running energy rom. but i am encountering issues with the facebook / media upload within the HTC 2.5 album.

it seems to work fine after a hard reset, but after a few days it stops working.

any ideas as to whats wrong?

Try clearing the HTC ALBUM cache more frequently.

how do i do that?

i tried searching the phone for album.cache, as per search instructions on google, but it didnt come up with anything.

go to device>application data>HTC ALBUM>Cache and delete all files contained in that folder. the media uploader is buggy anyway so i mostly use MS Facebook

sorry for being such a noob, but where is device? i can only find deice information.

im on energyrom, so if thats in the stock sprint 6.5 rom i prolly cant get to it :(

He means My Device. The root directory when you open File Explorer. Open File Explorer then click on Application Data then HTC ALBUM then Cache and clear out all the files in there. You could use an app like ClearTemp and set that folder as a Custom Folder to clear along with other temp folders.
