well I've been using no2chem's drivers forever and battery drain and overheating has nothing to do with his work. typically it can always be traced back to manila/sense.

Back to relevant info. This was brought up in Sharkies thread today. Flashed his new rom today and did notice one of my normal chargers did not work while the other one did. Rom/charger/driver? Don't know, interesting material to research now. Not going to worry about it now because the rom itself is running great and I have multiple chargers and batteries. Interested to see how this unfolds.

thanks, though it's a bit confusing to read conflicting information. but if there is indeed a setup where the ROM that includes and uses the driver doesn't cause issues, then the driver cannot be the source of the problems.

If I switch to the stock ROM everything works fine. If install the 1% increment driver my phone will not charge while it is on, only charges when off. Guess ill jus go to sprint and make it a hardware issue and see if the replacement does the same. Thank you for your replies.

who needs that anyway? seems that it drains more battery
