Problem doing SD flash
I d/l vindows plutonium to desktop and unrared.
I placed the rom on the root of my sd card. I followed these directions: Step 0: READ THE WHOLE POST ESPECIALLY IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME! make sure you turn off any over clocking as this has made the process function wierdly. Step 1: find the rom/radio you wish to flash and download it Step 2: extract the .nbh file out of said rom package (will usually be named RUU_SIGNED.nbh if the rom is packed in an exe use pocket rar to extract from your phone or 7zip/winrar from your pc) Step 3: place rom on the root of your SD card (meaning not in any folders) at this point you have two options I will keep the alternate path in green, If you want to use the app then skip the rest till you get to the green. Step 4: rename the .nbh file to RHODIMG.nbh Step 5: power down the device completely Step 6: hold volume down and power (end key on the Verizon variant) till the screen boots into bootloader mode (red green blue screen) Step 7: when prompted press power to flash Step 8: wait for it to finnish, sometimes it will restart on its own, sometime you need to restart it yourself but make sure you wait for the flash successful screen. After entering bootloader and screen flashes for less than a second that reads something like no image file? please help. |
Re: Problem doing SD flash
did you rename it RHODIMG.nbh??
its not in any folder? are you using an SDHC card? bigger than 2GBs?? - thatll make it not work right there.. |
Re: Problem doing SD flash
it was named that already.
it was on the root not in a folder. not using sdhc and it is under 2 gig. |

Re: Problem doing SD flash
it also needs to be FAT32 formatted. did you do this already? I personally think its better to flash via PC in the after hours that way no one can bother you.

Re: Problem doing SD flash
yeah, I echo the post that you need to have the SD reformatted as fat32 just to be sure. if it is not fat32, you usually get this "no image file" error.
