[Solved]HELP:After Hard Reset my phone can not find network service
 

My phone is Verizon xv6875, today I make a Hard reset(By Press the VOLUME UP button to restore the operating system to the factory default configuration).

But now the phone can not find any network services. I have a GSM SIM Card.

i have reflashed a custom ROM, sim card detected, and switch to global mode. but still find nothing.

Verizon xv6875:
GSM SIM Card
Radio verison:1.96.0ESN
PRL verison:00202
PRI verison:1.42_003
ERI verison:5

SPL-1.00.01iNEX

Anybody can help me!!!?

try CDMA only and see what happens... try it without the SIM altogether... try *228(is that VWZs activation code???

*228 is also the activation code for cricket/metroPCS. wont work for him since hes not on VZW but instead on some international provider.

if insert a GSM sim card and switch the CDMA only, it says try without sim card, it says i can not understand what *228 means?

but the GPRS wap settings are auto set, maybe it can read part of the network settings.

if reflash the radio, will it work?

run XDAndroid, it can not finish loading, and then auto reboot to windows.

perhaps your sim card mightve gotten corrupted, dont think a hard reset would cause that tho (they dont even erase carrier/activation settings ). what country are you from? if its a spanish speaking country i can try to speak to you in your native language. try getting a new sim card and see what happens and installing android wont solve this problem as it will still be present when you return to windows.

SIM unlock? How? sorry, i am newer.
start-settings-personal-security, it shows "your phone is SIM Unlocked."

also i have tried this SIM Card to other phones, and it works well.

i want to use GSM network service, whether i can re-flash a new radio? 2.35 or 2.37 ? or where i can find now the Radio verison 1.96.0ESN ?

That radio version is not Verizon's. I would suggest going to this thread and getting radio 2.35. It might help but it is a long shot.

i have updated RPI
PRI verison: 2.20_003
the problem still,

then i updated Radio version to 2.37.00WV
the problem still...

i do not know how?

I have contacted with HTC, and I was told this device was customer made by a personal company.
But show Verizon logo at the top of this device.
Hard reset (Not System Wipe device) may lose something in RAM.

And dial *228 nothing happened.

Is it needs to activate the phone?

What I can do?

I have reflashed a Chinese Arlen's patched radio, after rebooting shows Radio 1.96.0ESN, but still dos not work

With help of "Xiaolei", a Chinese people, My device is working fine now.

It is need to use QPST-Software Download to restore Data backup from a device working fine, and reboot.

So, Verizon xv6875 we cannot make Hard reset, it my lost some network data.
