Noob Help please

So i have searched around but not found my answer. I need to do a deep format on my phone i believe. I tried to load i clone and now at startup i get the coolsac splash screen even though i have chnaged roms a few times with hard resets in between. How can I get my phone back to stock so I can start over.

thanks

Re: Noob Help please

u have to visit the stock rom collection thread in the upgrade section of this site and download the sprint 6.5 stock rom and flash it (u can also try task29 but the first way is easier but takes longer), after that flash the iClone rom but really id recommend u flash a 21916 rom because otherwise ull be filled with bugs SODs and other troubles.

I would recommend that you do the task 29 as stated before, then flash The Stock Rom.
After that you can install iPhone Today and save yourself the headache of dealing
with a Beta test like iClone.
As for people who say things like "Get an iPhone if you want one so bad...copy cat."
I say, Build me an iPhone with a keyboard, and a Windows Mobile platform that I can use on Verizon, and maybe I'll consider buying it.

Is iclone a rom or cab install? A hard reset should return the device to it's last flashed state.

I have tried many roms and was just seeing if I liked this one. I wouldn't buy an Iphone ever.

As for the people with helpfull answers. Thank you all very much. I did the task 29 and then installed the Sharkie rom that is working well.

i wish people would stop suggesting to do task29 before flashing a stock ROM. it is completely unnecessary as flashing a stock ROM does a similar process, thats why it takes longer to flash stock than anything else.

not true sir, task29 is good advice if you have any flashing issue whether its going from custom to custom or custom to stock.

iClone is a rom bassed on the iPhone Today application.
Having run both I can say that on a stock rom with sense UI disabled
I found iPhone Today to work really well whereas the iClone rom
well, it's still in Beta for a reason, or two, or more.
