Re: Screen keeps turning on by itself...
Like I mentioned earlier, if you have a WM Rom that has CoOkie 2.0 the proximity sensor setting helps. It does not stop it from turning on but it almost immediately turns back off.

Re: Screen keeps turning on by itself...
it'll turn off within a specific amount of time. of course that probly won't help if ur in a low signal area so its best to enable airplane mode in those areas, its what I do when I'm in class

Yea both of those are already set to the lowest values I can set them to on battery power (10sec). I was just hoping there was a tweek to keep the screen turned off even if it was looking for a signal. Sounds like what quick99si said, I guess it's just a WM "feature"

Re: Screen keeps turning on by itself...
its not a WM feature. Android phones do it too and my arrive which is a wp7 phone does it also (of course it goes right back off if there's no touch feedback ) its just how smartphones react to the changes in the CDMA radio vale? how many times do I have to explain that eh?

Well eric12341 you had a great post until the smart comment "How many times do I need to explain that". You really didn't need to explain it at all. If you didn't notice I put the "feature" in quotes with a big ol jumping smiley face next to it. I don't get people who will take the time to put down a question that someone posts on a forum that is here to help everyone. This is a place for people like me go to learn and pick the brains of others who know more then I do. Which, in turn gives me more knowledge to help others and so on. So..... Thank you for the first part of your post but I could have really done with out the second part.
