How to Flash Your Touch Pro2
 

This post is for all of you who have questions about flashing your Touch Pro2. Instead of having to make a new thread and wait for a response, hopefully, you'll just be able to go to my tutorial for all of your flashing needs.

I know this is coming REALLY late to the game, but I figure there's still someone who might need help with this. So here it is!

I was planning to include a faq page to help those who still have trouble during the process. Let me know if this helps, and I'm open to suggestions. :)

not gonna help, theres still gonna be a member of the menos de cincuenta crowd that will come along and post their own thread and ask about it. i mean theres a tutorial on here that pertains to tethering yet there still are new threads created almost everyday asking about it.

This is gonna sound harsh, but this REALLY has been covered far too many times for a new thread... especially at the EOL of the device... I mean really?!

i basically said that in my original post. and the TP2 is not EOL because theyre still being sold by all the carriers except for VZW and A$$ Tard$ & Turd$

EOL more in technical prowess and relevance... WP7 is out now so the death of WM is pretty much in the end stages can't expect it to be supported for too much longer by the carriers.

Your tutorial helped me unlock my Tp2. Thanks!
However, I downloaded a new ROM (Nov.26.Neodium.rar) and can't seem to flash my TP2 with it. Your tutorial is a bit different from what I see. After I unzip Neodium I get a .nbh file. My PC can't open it. I'm kind of stuck here.

rename the nbh to RHODIMG.nbh and put nbh on root of sd card (top/not in a folder) then put this app. on ppc and use it to flash.

That's exactly what I had to do. Worked (took several tries). I didn't have to use your app that you attached. Thanks!

Thanks sugaryling for your comments! I'm glad to know that my tutorial helped somebody. And thanks Darren for filling in where the tutorial didn't. I'm gonna update it so that it mentions the storage card flashing method.

I put the site up to use as a portfolio piece. The fact that it helped someone shows that the info is correct, at least :).

EDIT: I've updated the guide to include the storage card flashing method. Thanks again for trying it out!

If you aren't interested in this phone, why are you in this section of the forum? Pointing out how obsolete a phone is doesn't really contribute in ANY WAY to the quality/usability of this post! Really kind of unclear as to why you would even be posting. ](*,)As for me, I really appreciate the quality of this post/guide. Thanks! =D>
